Hi Samuel, There is no such ideal distribution. It depends more on people confidence in one or the other. Centos 7 is great and reliable, Alma and rock Linux are good path to move out of centos 8 (phased out), Red Hat is robust but you need to pay a license, and so on, fedora seems to be in love...
