  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How to configure a fixed process pool for NodeJS with Passenger

Sorry to reopen this old thread, but a strange thing happened to me. A few years ago I configured phusion passenger as described here, editing `/etc/nginx/conf.d/phusion-passenger.conf`. In the past months our app started to show a noticeable slowdown. At first we thought about traffic, we...

Issue Abnormal CPU usage and Apache crash

This command, as well as "top", does not show processes with high CPU consumption. Furthermore, many sites are under the same subscription and under the same system user. So I didn't understand much...

Issue Abnormal CPU usage and Apache crash

In addition: we have another server with the same backup configuration error, and very large backup files too. It never does anything similar... And it is more or less the same server hardware....

Issue Abnormal CPU usage and Apache crash

This morning it happened again. Maybe I found something about backups configurations, but I can't figure it out how it can be related with apache freeze. One of the subscriptions, the bigger one, is used for sites that include a lot of media. These media are often video, and so we have large...

Issue Abnormal CPU usage and Apache crash

Hello, I have this strange problem from several months now and I'm not able to solve it. We occasionally see strange CPU behavior on this server. This is the current situation, for example. For what I know, that should be a high I/O usage. Sometimes it happens that the problem also triggers...

Question How to configure a fixed process pool for NodeJS with Passenger

Hello, I have a problem setting the passenger configuration. My /etc/nginx/conf.d/phusion-passenger.conf file looks like this: Then I restart the app, and open a bunch of connections. But if I run passenger-status, I get I expect my "Max pool size" should be 100.... What do I do wrong?

Issue nodeJS timeout, but the server is not overloaded

Hello everybody, I can't find detailed documentation on nodeJS configuration on Plesk. All the documentation I find stops at installing a simple "hello world" app. One of our servers runs an app in nodejs which is quite CPU intensive and makes a lot of mysql requests. No problem with limited...
