  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Account automatically gets suspended

    One of my accounts keeps suspending without apparent reason. My client calls saying that his site is down, then I go to the panel and the domain shows a red dot on the left. Then I choose activate it says either success or fail with out a reason but the red dot persist. The only way I found...

    bind (named) service wont start

    Solved After a lot of investigation, trying and failing I resolved the issue reinstalling the bind service from the updates & upgrades pages on the panel. Just remember to have closed all the services panels on the actual machine.

    bind (named) service wont start

    Due to a windows problem the server went down, once restarted the named service didn't restart anymore. I'm running it manually with named -f in a command window but I need the service to start normally. I just get the following message: Error 2: cannot find the file specified
