  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    My hosting with 1and1 running using plesk 11 uses php version 5.3.3. How can this be upgraded to the latest version(s) either 5.3.17 or 5.4.7? I'm concerned about security problems.

    php 5.3.13 or 5.4

    With the recent vulnerabilities in php running in CGI when can we expect updates to the php version available. Current my server with a hosting company is running 5.3.3 and would like to upgrade that to 5.3.13 at least to stay on te most current 5.3.x

    File Permission Issues

    similar problem I was running into a similar file/folder ownership error with Wordpress Installations. Think I've solved it but running PHP as CGI application instead of Apache. You might want to create a new service plan to test this. Under the Hosting Parameters of the service plan...
