    Thank you for your answer. As the SSL was provided by the customer and we would not expect to use the www version of the web site URL, I will leave it at that.

This is secured by a weild card SSL, provided by the customer, for *.whitesales.co.uk My question is - should this wild card SSL secure www.portal.whitesales.co.uk?
