  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    all i did was open and edit the admin profile by changing the name, address, phone and email address since the prior admin is no longer with the company. not having any knowledge about DNS setups, how am i supposed to know that changing the contact information would also change the DNS IP...

    why does changing the administrator's email automatically change the DNS? I have been told that this occurs, but there is no documentation to support that this occurs. So is this correct? changing the DNS is a critical change, and since plesk does NOT ask for a new DNS, how does plesk determine...
