  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Hi IgorG, I had seen this topic however assumed that, since the main resolution was to upgrade your Plesk (mine is already 18.0.26), I assumed the "workaround" wasn't necessary. Low and behold, it was still needed. A quick change of /etc/xinetd.d/poppassd_psa and it's all working. Thank you...

    Installing Horde, the same issue persists: "Failure in changing password for Poppassd Server: No prompt returned from server." Horde error logs don't show anything relevan.t.

    Having a dig around, I've noticed that poppassd service isn't listening on port 106... root@host:~# telnet localhost 106 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost.localdomain. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. How do I solve this?

    /var/log/messages does not exist. However I've checked syslog and nothing gets added at the same time? Really at a loss here.
