  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Thank you for your help, it did help me to solve my problem. The user (and password) required for Symfony Doctrine usage isthe Plesk database user.

    MySQL user and password

    I can manage databases through Plesk 11, using phpMyAdmin. However, for my application to work I need to know the database's user and password. How do I know which user and password to use? I can't find the relevant information in Plesk.

    Creating new database

    I use MySQL Workbench on my development machine to create databases. I now need to replicate a database on a server running Plesk 11 and MyPHPAdmin. How do I do this? Of course I can start from scratch and use MyPHPAdmin to manually duplicate the database, but that might ontroduce errors...

    PHP upgrade from 5.3.3

    I have Parallel Plesk 11 running on my Centos 6.3 VPS. As a result PHP is at version 5.3.3 I need to upgrade PHP to version in the range of 5.3.8 to 5.3.15 If I do this using SSH, will this "break" Paralles Plesk 11? Thanks in advance.
