  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Plesk updater never shows updates

    I believe it just doesn't work. You have to manually download and install the updates. Why it has gone on this long for this many versions I have no idea.

    I recently set up a fresh install of 8.1 and upon rebooting the system and logging onto plesk, I get a screen asking for a 'selection of default components'. These options are all greyed out for DNS server, mail server and component_name_ws. what is going on? thanks in advance.
