• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Issue Apache not starting up

About every two days my apache server stops running at 7 a.m. in the morning and I need to restart it manually. The apache2 error log tells me that it received a shutdown signal at 6:55 and it shuts down automatically. But it seems as if it doesn't start up again automatically. The error.log...

Resolved Let's Encrypt use IdentTrust Intermediate

Thanks for your responses: I'll try to clarify the issue. I'm running a website that is protected via Let's Encrypt. The chain contains a certificate for the domain itself issued by Let's Encrypt Authority X3 and the certificate for Let's Encrypt Authority X3 by the DST Root CA X3. This...

Resolved Let's Encrypt use IdentTrust Intermediate

When Let's Encrypt configures a SSL Certificate on a domain the ISRG intermediate is used. For some applications it's required that the certificate chain contains the IdentTrust cross-sign certificates which should be contained in the fullchain. I tried to find out how Plesk manages the...

Reinstalling the git component solved the issue (while running the repair script doesn't). The old GIT configuration is lost but I can easily restore it. Thanks!

Hello UFHH01, I'm running a debian linux (jessie) with plesk 17.5.3 which uses dovecot for providing the mail service for subscribers. Additional "mail-related" services are "Plesk Milter (Postfix)", "SMTP-Server (Postfix)" and SpamAssassin. There is a main dovecot configuration file and there...

Resolved dovecot failed to start after upgrading to 17.5.3 #4

I changed the "PrivateTmp=true" setting in the systemd configuration, reloaded system-ctl and the service started again. I fear that this is only a temporary solution because using a private temp appears to be the recommended setting. Any ideas?
