Hi @thebigman, The question is rather general. What step are you at? You can test the website using your /etc/hosts file. Once it is working, you can change the A record or name servers (but obviously you have to create the name servers first).

It's unusual for an IP to be blocked for misconfiguration. Are you certain spam isn't being relayed by your server? We haven't used Mxroute so we'll let other forum members assist you with that.

Hi @brownbag, Are you on multiple blacklists or just one? Have you considered using Immunify360? We use it on our cPanel servers and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Additionally, is the host running Windows?

I think their logic is that it's Google search engine so you should follow Google's recommendations. I personally prefer using GTMetrix and Pingdom's speed test.
