  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Replace Plesk Cert from command line

It depends on with which domain you are logging in? You can see the FQDN/Hostname you should use and secure there: This domain ahve to be secured with a legit SSL Cert. After this remove the "--ignore-certificate-errors" Parameter from Chrome and retry again and check if it now working...

Resolved Replace Plesk Cert from command line

You dont even have to do this via SSH. The easier way is to start Chrome with the "--ignore-certificate-errors" parameter (see HERE) and Log in your Web-Panel of Plesk and change the Certificate. Pls notice: after this remove the parameter again.

He was talking about the "LoadEvent" when he mentioned the 500ms. His TTFB is now at 50ms. This is OffTopic and somehow confusing as he earlier mentioned that also the TTFB is 500ms. But I think the problem here is solved as the problem was his VPS ### Is this TTFB including: - DNS Lookup...

    Resolved TTFB high radomly

DOOMCOntentLoaded & LoadEvent does not have anything to do with the Server itself as it is mostly being infuenced by your template. How many ressources you have to load to display the site and how technically optimized your Website (not the WebServer!) is. But nice to see your TTFB being at...

Just try to get a new Server. But maybe even try to change the Hoster as this Hoster maybe is over-selling its network and due to the Corona and everyone is at home and using the net it could be even more overloaded You are welcome

Edit: By watching at this I think it is your VPS/Connection. It took (randomly) about 900ms to download a 80kb file and I do have 100MB/s Connection. Like I said here, the internet connection is most probably the problem here. Maybe your Hoster "over-sold" his network. Is this affecting all...

Thanks for the DM. I checked your Website and I do have some questions: While testing your Website are you loged in? Or to ask the question more clear: when you test from an anonym Tab, do you still have a slow Website? For me seems your TTFB is pending between 60ms - 100ms which is very...

    Resolved TTFB high radomly

Possible, but for a SSD its not very fast. Shouldnt be the reason anyway. Do you use any kind of caching? OpCache? Some Wordpress Plugin to Cache? The problem is: we have to determinate what the bottleneck is and then solve it. How fast is your TTFB at static assets? I ask this to check if...

Now thats very very very low Internet Speed. When I try with one of my 20€ VPS I get 800Mb/s - 1.000Mb/s (100MB/s - 125MB/s) Download and the same upload. This is pretty sure the bottleneck here. Pls contatc your Hoster and report this to him. Also in seems you are running on a HDD not an SSD...

Thats exactly what I ment.. befor providing a solution the "problem" have to be discovered. If its not and someone just calls a 'solution' this is just wrong in my opinion and yes IMO this is unprofessional. But now "opinions" doesnt matter anymore as LiteSpeed does just not solve this issue...

I can feel you but you dont even know what he uses? What if he is already using Apache? Also this problem could be related to things a WebServer can not improve, like temporary DDoS of the whole Server or whatever, ATM we do not know everything, so providing a "solution" in my eyes is very...

    Resolved TTFB high radomly

Sorry but this does not have anything to do with Litespeed! I know so many sites which are powered by Apache and are blazing fast 24/7 so a general statment like this is just not right. Before judging anything we should analyse the reason for this or the "bottleneck". But pls do not rely on...

Issue 502 Bad Gateway after Plesk upgrade

Even if it works will you ever trust this Server anymore? I would not. Changing Servers does cause a interruption of every Webservice... but not for hours! for some seconds! Use CloudFlare as DNS Hoster and set up the new Server. Then: 1. transfer FTP and DB (also transfer SSL Certs etc) from...

Issue Several issues with current plesk version

What would be the problem with Nginx? If you cant tell the difference between performance by just calling the site it is useless anyway. But thats just my opinion. Dont trust BuildWith.com they sometimes are wrong or cache things. Just have a look at the header in the devconsole and dont trust...

Issue 502 Bad Gateway after Plesk upgrade

I would recommend not to destroy your running Server atm. As it would be critical if the Backup does not work. Pls just buy temporary a new VPS (5€ max) with just enough space and ressources to fit all of your applications. Install Plesk on it and migrate all of your Backups to it.Then if...

    Issue Unable to update

I think its not that critical if you do have backups (even on MariaDB 10.4.x). Pls try as following: 1. go for a temporary 5€ VPS with enough space to hold all of your applications. 2. Set it up with the same OS but with MariaDB 10.3 3. manually import all of your Backups (or just transfer...
