  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP Version changed by Plesk on subdomain

This issue also occurs when updating a service plan's PHP settings, which is a more serious problem since the owner of the site doesn't even know anything has changed. Steps were: 1. Update service plan's PHP settings defaults such that upload_max_size was changed from 8M to 32M 2. Notice...

Issue Deleting domains does not remove vhost root

UFHH01, If only that were true. I manually created a subscription in Plesk then deleted it. Same result -- entire vhost directory remains. This is on CentOS 6.7. No WHMCS interaction at all.

Issue Deleting domains does not remove vhost root

Hey UFHH01, Yes I'm aware of the Event Manager and how to use it for these kinds of tasks. But before we go about configuring such a thing on every single server, I think it's important to figure out why this is happening in the first place. Is this intended behaviour? And if so, why is it not...

Issue Deleting domains does not remove vhost root

Hey there, I've noticed a problem that seems to be persistent across all of our Plesk 12.5 servers. I've tested and confirmed this on one in particular running 12.5.30 Update #40. When deleting a client and domain (in particular via terminate in WHMCS), the client, domain, subscription and...

Power User Interface and migrated subscriptions with resource usage limits

Igor, now I'm getting this: The 'domain' subscription, owned by user 'client', is approaching or already exceeded the resource usage limits: Disk space: 25 GB limit / 9225.5 MB (36%) used / 16374.5 MB (64%) remaining Clearly it's nowhere near the limit. Perhaps I also need to adjust the...

Scheduled Tasks - PHP script doesn't work

That's interesting... I was under the impression that the "Run a PHP script" option was created to avoid chrooted shell issues... especially when it gives you the option to select which PHP version to use. Why should Plesk say "hey go ahead and select from 3 version of PHP that are installed"...

Power User Interface and migrated subscriptions with resource usage limits

Igor, I removed the subscription from the plan AND used the -traffic-bandwidth option to set it to unlimited. Now I'm getting disk space notifications: Disk space: 10 GB limit / 9258.8 MB (90%) used / 981.2 MB (10%) remaining The problem is that the only disk space related option I could...

Power User Interface and migrated subscriptions with resource usage limits

Thanks Igor! I would imagine I should run this instead, given that I can't actually manage the subscription parameters (nor the service plan) using power user view. plesk bin subscription --no-subscription example.com In fact, that's probably what the Plesk migrator should be doing when...

Power User Interface and migrated subscriptions with resource usage limits

Hey there, We set up a new Plesk server with a Web Apps Edition license as the client doesn't need any of the advanced features of the more expensive licenses, nor the additional domains. We then migrated subscriptions from another server that has a web host edition license and all went...

PHP Version changed by Plesk on subdomain

We're seeing similar issues here with Plesk 12.5.30 Update #30 and CentOS 6.7 The specific issues are: - When we changed the PHP version being used by monocle.[domain1], all other domains and subdomains changed their PHP version in that subscription. (A lot of them, so not something I did...

    TLS 1.2

I could be wrong about this, but I think those detection systems are checking for your raw version of OpenSSL, assuming it won't work, and not actually confirming TLS1.2 connectivity. From what I've read, it's been baked into OpenSSL versions in Redhat/CentOS systems for at least a year now. The...

plesk-php-cleanuper creates PHP session timeout issues

I've set session.gc_maxlifetime to a higher value in Plesk's PHP Settings so that when a user is logged in, they won't be auto-timed out after 24 minutes (or so). Except I found that auto-logout always occurred within about an hour, even though sessions with a cookie value set to 0 meant it...

    Incoming SPF checking not working

I've resolved this issue. However I believe it's caused by a bug in Plesk's SPF implementation. I've discovered that SPF DNS checks do not run at all when "SPF guess rules" are configured in Plesk. I had SPF guess rules configured to the default: v=spf1 a/24 mx/24 ptr ~all When this was set...

    Incoming SPF checking not working

This may be a coincidence, but while troubleshooting this issue, I ran the static SPF testing utility with the exact details of the first message that made it through SPF tests when it shouldn't have. Incoming SPF checking not working

Hey folks, I've encountered an issue that appears to be occurring across all of our Plesk 12.5 servers with SPF scanning not occurring on any incoming messages. Here's what I know, using one particular server for testing: 1) Incoming emails get the following headers applied: When "SPF guess...

Additional MySQL User Permissions for Magento compatibility

Magento 2.0 now requires MySQL 5.6 or higher and a bunch of MySQL User capabilities that Plesk currently does not assign to MySQL users. I know that Plesk simply uses the system installed MySQL server, so upgrades to that are beyond Plesk's purview. As a result of this we set up two dedicated...

Resolved [PPP-13862] Redirect on automated login and http referrer

A Plesk developer responded indicating that any such use of the success_redirect_url *must* be set up on the same domain as that which the server is being accessed. So for example, if your Plesk URL is https://plesk.myserver.com:8443 you could set up a redirect.php on https://plesk.myserver.com...
