  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

Yes, maybe a bit harsh, but Plesk is ignoring the community’s desire for a more stable update management. There are already several threads about this. The hosting business needs stability first, stability second, and stability third. Currently, Plesk does not have a stable release line that...

Input Plesk Obsidian 18.0.59 - stable enough for live deployment?

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65 #0 Definitely not stable if you are using the mail server and want to avoid a service request nightmare from your clients. See: Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

Resolved Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

This bug also indicates that Plesk Obsidian does not appear to be the server admin panel of choice for Plesk’s own team when managing their services. Otherwise, this bug would have been identified by Plesk immediately, rather than by its users. It’s disappointing to see.

Question Install docker image (RocketChat), on a domain / webhotel.

@LionKing "777" permissions are required; otherwise, the MongoDB startup script cannot create its own data structure as the mongodb user, which is created during the image build process. Regarding your problems: I think you might have a firewall or network issue. However, you could try using...

Question Install docker image (RocketChat), on a domain / webhotel.

We have several Rocket.Chat instances for our clients, based on Docker containers in Plesk. However, the setup is not that easy. Here you can find the solution I posted some time ago: Install Rocket.chat on Plesk with Docker ?

Input Tell us about your use of the Watchdog component

Similar to @Bitpalast, we are also using our own solution, but it is based on Ansible. Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

Personally, I think the patch is quite easy. The correct individual value is already inside the form; it's just not activated by JavaScript. I will check the code. Maybe I can help to fix it.

Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

We overlooked this nice change. The spam kill level should be sufficient. Now we can more easily secure and block spam from, for example, SMTP email-sending mailboxes used for websites.

    Issue PHP suddenly crashes

Depending on the timeframe, 38,000 requests can be a lot. In one of the first screenshots, I also saw 60,000 requests from one IP. Some requests might be quite database-heavy and require a lot of processing time. I would check the processing time of my PHP scripts and maybe set a low limit for...
