• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Monitoring does not work with http3

@ChristophRo We tested on Debian 11 and 12. Both operating systems are affected for our servers. If you have no problems at all maybe we have a conflicting extension or setting. We will investigate it further.

Resolved Monitoring does not work with http3

We can confirm this bug. We updated some test servers to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.61 Update #1 too. The build-in monitoring tool is broken and does not display any graphs anymore. The Google Chrome development console shows the errors mentioned in this bug report: Failed to load resource...

Resolved "Smart static files processing" is not working anymore

@Kaspar@Plesk Thanks for the clarification. The minimal file size + the different behavior when "Serve static files directly by nginx" is activated caused our confusion. The topic can be marked as resolved. Everything works fine and as expected related to the Plesk documentation.

Forwarded to devs SSL It! breaks renewal and usage of Let's Encrypt wildcard certificates when subdomains are involved

As described previously in this bug report, we also encounter the problem, that sometimes the "SSL/TLS certificate for mail" is removed from the domain leading to warnings in the mail clients of our customers. This happens very seldom, but it occurs. The affected wildcard certificates are still...

Turn off "License key is not prolongated yet"

@Kaspar@Plesk Thanks for the clarification. The problem did disappear when the license status switched from "expired" (orange label) to "terminated" (red label) in Plesk 360. Then the license will not be re-installed automatically anymore. Maybe Plesk should stop downloading keys with the...

Turn off "License key is not prolongated yet"

Adding a server to Plesk 360 does involve a lot of private data transfer where we do not have the permission of our clients for. I will make a bug report soon.

Turn off "License key is not prolongated yet"

Yes it also happens when we retrieve the keys manually. We did not sign up for Plesk 360 yet.

Turn off "License key is not prolongated yet"

This problem does still exist in 2024 under specific circumstances. We have an extension where we did exchange the license key to an external one (not bought from Plesk). The old subscription was cancelled via cleverbridge (Plesk). The already expired key was deleted under "Tools & Settings -...

Issue Installing Rocket Chat in Plesk with Docker using tutorial, need an answer.

Those are not the correct logs. I think it would be better you learn first more about the error handling, log files and debugging of CentOS 7.9. It is very hard to help, if you do not know the basics of your operation system. The whole docker topic is very complex with all systems involved -...

Issue Installing Rocket Chat in Plesk with Docker using tutorial, need an answer.

And here is the problem. The Docker traffic is a different interface. If you cannot disable the firewall for a short test you should open the needed ports and forwardings with your own firewall rules. Check your kern.log for dropped packages. There you will see if requests to your Rocket.Chat...

Issue Installing Rocket Chat in Plesk with Docker using tutorial, need an answer.

Did you try to disable the whole firewall for a short test? Because actually you need to open all ports needed for in- and outgoing traffic.

Issue Install Rocket.chat on Plesk with Docker ?

MongoDB 7.x is not yet supported by Rocket.Chat. Version 6 is the way to go. Basically the following steps would give you a Rocket.Chat instance based on two containers: a) Setup a MongoDB container, e.g. Image: bitnami/mongodb:6.0.13 Settings: Also connect to the newly created MongoDB and...

Do you have any active firewall? If so please check the rules if they are preventing the access. The default Plesk firewall would do so in your scenario on port 3000. System policy for incoming traffic => Deny all other incoming traffic

Question Anybody facing problems with updating to 18.0.60 or is it safe?

@whu I would wait at least for the first or second patch release. As there is no way for downgrading a buggy new release can be a lot of headache. In the past we had to learn that the hard way. When 18.0.60 #1 is released we will start the deployment on our dev servers. I would never install a...

Forwarded to devs SSL It! breaks renewal and usage of Let's Encrypt wildcard certificates when subdomains are involved

As there seems to be no progress at all by Plesk for the bugs EXTSSLIT-1879 and PPS-15436 we decided to implement our own work-around. To share wildcard certificates among subdomains is buggy with heavy impact on our client's satisfaction. To avoid this shameful bug of a so called "server...
