• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Question Almalinux Kernel Update

We were running with alma 8.9, now it has been updated to 8.10, but the interesting thing is that the kernel version that is currently running is 4.18.0-477.10.1 (8.8) when it should be 4.18.0-553 (8.10 ), this is causing slowness and a high value for cpu steal in monitoring. I don't know what...

Resolved Update 18.0.60 on AlmaLinux = high cpu steal value

The recent update 18.0.60/61 caused the cpu steal value to increase sharply, causing slowdowns on websites and servers. The same behavior is repeated on all servers that I have AlmaLinux 8.10 (Cerulean Leopard). The other servers with Centos7 that also received the 18.0.60/61 updates are not...

    Question Name Servers and CloudFlare

In short, the free cloudflare account does not support custom nameservers, that is, using subdomains as nameservers. Sometimes it will work, other times it may cause problems. I would recommend using a different domain to use as a nameserver. Personally, I use DigitalOcean as a DNS server to...

Resolved Outgoing administrator mail not authorized [missing SPF record in sender domain]

I managed to solve this problem, I was using the deny mode when SPF resolves to Fail, I changed it to reject if it is not Pass, then all emails from the servers started to be refused in the administrator. I simply added the SPF TXT record to the external DNS server where I allocate my...
