• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

@Hangover2 No Warden uses the systemd-journal for logs. Read the KB article below for how to repair your systemd-journal or how you can adjust your systemd-journal retention time: https://www.danami.com/clients/knowledgebase/274/How-can-I-fix-empty-mail-log-information-in-Warden.html

Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

@W4ru AbuseIPDB is only used in Warden for looking up the reputation of an IP address. You can click on an IP address in any of the grids. (Look at the screenshot). It doesn't make any sense to use it for fighting spam as it was never built for that and there are much better services that are...

@W4ru you shouldn't be trying to migrate SA settings unless each OS version is identical. From your ticket your new OS is using a completely different SA version SpamAssassin 4.0. These are the only settings that I recommend that you migrate (Spam policies, blacklists, whitelists and...

Resolved Plesk Postfix RPM overrites /etc/postfix/header_checks with every Postfix package update

@Sebahat.hadzhi I checked the RPM spec file from the Postfix packages provided by AlmaLinux 9 (not Plesks packages) and they set the header_checks properly like they should be From the AlmaLinux 9 Postfix RPM spec file: %attr(0644, root, root) %config(noreplace) %{postfix_config_dir}/header_checks

Resolved Plesk Postfix RPM overrites /etc/postfix/header_checks with every Postfix package update

@Sebahat.hadzhi You should also note that you don't need to use postmap to generate a db file when using regular expression tables.

Resolved Plesk Postfix RPM overrites /etc/postfix/header_checks with every Postfix package update

@Sebahat.hadzhi That doesn't make any sense at all. If a user adds a check to /etc/postfix/header_checks then runs postmap to generate the header_checks.db then Plesk updates Postfix and reverts /etc/postfix/header_checks. Then what happens if you want to add another header_check later on? You...

Just a note to others that the issue that @Hangover2 discovered is fixed in the next Warden release and we were able to keep users being able to set custom spam levels :)
  17. danami

Input Warden Antispam & Virus Protection Extension for Plesk

@Hangover2 I think the best fix for this is to just remove the ability to set custom spam levels outside of the select lists like we originally had. Because spam policies are hierarchical it becomes difficult to program every edge case once users start entering in their own custom values.

Issue Outgoing emails get rejected - User not allowed to send Emails

@Stephan.FediCom You could try to whtielist the sysuser from the outgoing mail limits using the command below (replacing username with the real sysuser username): /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng-outgoing --add-to-whitelist --sysuser=username

Question Possible to use DNSBLs for moving identified email as spam to spam folder (not blocking)?

@tramvainqueur Yes this is possible. Take a look at the "Enabling DNSBLs at the content filter level" section from the KB article below. The article was written for our Warden product but it should work the same for the default spamassassin that Plesk provides...
