  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Need to migrate from old server v2 to new server v3

Thanks, a couple more questions. 1. Can the migration part be done prior to the licence change? 2. must the migrated accounts have a hosting account on the same server as sitebuilder is installed on? Thanks again for your help.

    Run SiteBuilder v2.x and v3 side-by-side?

Does anyone know, is it possible to run both versions at the same time and migrate accounts later? I'd like to make sure v3 is running stable before migrating.

Sitebuilder 3 for Plesk Linux Publishing any Idea when

After re-reading the email from SWsoft, I see that it says middle/end of August. I'll be waiting till end of August before contacting them about it. I suspect that version 3 will be similar to the current V3 for windows. You may want to check that version to compare.

    Header Images change/custom

    Inserting Custom Header...

Custom header upload feature is available in SiteBuilder v3 which I think will be available in a month or so (for non-Windoze users). (According to SWsoft support). I currently have version 2. They (SW soft support) also told me that once a client selects a template and publish's the site the...

    Just for hoster?

My guess is yes/no. ;-) I suppose the primary host (with root) could install it and give you admin privs. If you pay for it and pay them for the installation they should be able to do it for you. The site builder has a reseller section so if your primary host installed it for themselves...

    How hard would it be?

How hard would it be to allow users to upload their own header image within the sitebuilder interface? I know I can upload a new header image via ftp after the site is published, but it sure would be nice if a user could upload a specified header image to replace the one in the template...

DNS for trial sites at temporary addresses.

I love forums ;-) got the DNS to work just fine setting the A record with *. I have a question about the temp sites when you visit the temp address.... In the header it says... "EDIT"(button) with text beside it that says... you can buy hosting here (link)... my question is, how...
