• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Resolved Upgrade to MariaDB 10.6

That's where I checked the directions. The listed file doesn't exist. /etc/yum.repos.d/MariaDB.repo I used the CentOS 8 instructions, since that seems closest to AlmaLinux 8.7. Wrong?

    Resolved Upgrade to MariaDB 10.6

I'm trying to upgrade from MariaDB 10.3 to 10.6. I'm using AlmaLinux 8.7 on the Plesk server, running latest Plesk. I'm trying to find the proper distribution on the MariaDB site to use in the upgrade, but it doesn't list that OS, nor do your upgrade directions. Guidance please? I'm in the U.S.

Question Update MariaDB version on Plesk

To be specific I also went and changed the actual script to reflect 10.6. And got: [root@server ~]# cd / [root@server /]# ./mariadb-10.6-upgrade.sh Dumping all databases stopping MariaDB service creating backup of mysql directory removing mysql-server package in case it exists error: package...

Question Update MariaDB version on Plesk

The first steps work fine using the CentOS 7-related manual directions. I update the repo file listing MariaDB 10.6 as indicated in Step 6. I then run Step 7 to install, and it comes back with a message about only finding the 10.5 release. I really don't want to run through the process again...

Question Update MariaDB version on Plesk

Let me amend that, I found this in an email from the host that might be the ticket number. c980157498 They have responded, second hand through the host, but merely asked for the steps that I used to do the upgrade, and those are above. But there's been no answer since then or even a progress...

Question Update MariaDB version on Plesk

Host is 1&1 IONOS, and their support people communicate with Plesk and relay responses to the customer. In short, I don't have it. But the long and short is that I'd just like working instructions on doing the upgrade. This one doesn't work when adapted to 10.6...

Question Update MariaDB version on Plesk

I know. But I don't see any workable instructions to install it. The one to install older versions doesn't take. Can you provide a proper step-by-step or link?
