• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Google Map API Key

Hey, thanks for writing. I think there is a confusion when it comes to the API Key entry in the Server>Modules>Area Map as to what it actually wants. And, maybe its causing our problems. What is confusing is is this entry supposed to be for any of the URLs that the Plesk server supports...

    Creating MultiLevel Pages in/with Sitebuilder???

Does anyone know if its possible to create more than 1 layer deep web pages with Sitebuilder? I was going to start manually doing it, but I'm not sure if Sitebuilder will destroy the pages every time I publish. Thanks for any info you can provide. Dave.

    Google Map API Key

Thanks for letting us know its a common problem. I knew it was a coding problem. I've worked with google maps, using my own coding, without any problems. But, the Sitebuilder module has some problems. Thank you again for ack'ing it. Dave.

    Google Map API Key

Oh, one other thing. The screen shots you took are exactly what I get also. API key is for another URL. So, hummm.... how can that be when google actually gives the URL that the key is for and it is typed in exactly into the Sitebuilder map module? Its supposed to be dummy proof, at...

    Error in host number

I know what your going through. I purchased Plesk and Sitebuilder and told the sales person that our server had 8 IPs. I thought from me telling this to the sales person that I'd get what I would need to be able to host/publish to all 8 ips. Well, I found out after basically doing what your...

    Google Map API Key

Steve, I get the same problem all the time with the built in Sitebuilder map module. I was never able to get it to work. The funny thing is is that it is supposed to be so simple, and it should be. Google asks me for my domain name and then creates the API key. I go to Sitebuilder cut...

Did anyone ever try to submit their sites to A9.com ? Its a search engine submittion site. I've been wondering if anyone else gets this error. When I go to A9 to submit a web site that Plesk is hosting and Sitebuilder created, I get this error:Could not find a valid XML header in the file...

migrating sites to new server? how?

Did you use the sbrestore command? I noticed that when you use this command it uses, and restores the exact same publishing locations. Which, I guess is good, but I thought I could kill two birds with one stone and restore some sites to domain.com/ instead of the default domain.com/site which...

    hyperlinks in custom pageset

In regards to your hyperlinks, i've had the same thing happen to me, all the time. I dont know what is causing it, but possibly it might be because your using the default publishing domain of domain.com/site instead of just domain.com/ I wish I could be more help to you. If you find out...

    Sitebuilder default location

well, that sounds logical... But I'm not sure if it'll work because I think some of the modules I'm using are storing data on the sql server. Copying the files probably will move the pictures, etc, but I'm not sure on text content. That data is stored in the databases. I'm really going to...

    Sitebuilder default location

I do have default.aspx first in the list... I dont know if the order of the other ones matters... The funny thing is is that the domain.com/site still functions perfectly and with the module data(the pictures, forum data, blog data, etc) but the domain.com that you showed me how to fix, and...

    Sitebuilder default location

Hey, thank you! This is something that I think a lot of people will probably want to print out and keep for reference. I didn't try it yet although it looks pretty simple. Doing it for real will be the trick. Thank you again and in a little while I'm going to try it on a site. Dave.

    Sitebuilder default location

I'm a bit confused when you mention about 'for this to work...'. Do you mean to go into Windows IIS and change something manually? and something else I'm really confused with, do you mean to go into Inetpub dir and rename the index.html and what should I rename it too? Maybe I'm making...

    Sitebuilder default location

When I do what you say, change the working directory to /httpdocs/ and the Web Site URL to http://domain.ext/ and then try to Publish the site, Sitebuilder returns this message: Location Status: Error, Details: Config error. Define the order in which the default documents (default.htm...

Sitebuilder and 2nd, 3rd, etc Level Pages...

Oh please, let Sitebuilder create more than 1 layer deep pages. In the programming, it would seem to me to be such a simple thing to write. Displaying the site tree on the other hand might cause some display problems, but thats what the horizontal slide bar is for, to move to the right or...
