• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    gkrellmd Installation with Plesk 7.5.2

I have set up gkrellmd before in a pretty straightforward manner, however it is not apparently working properly with Plesk. I've tried several things to make it work, however have had no luck. It appears to be running properly however from an allowed ip/domainname gkrellm is not able to pull...

    Webmail In arabic or hebrew!

I am not finding the answer to webmail not functioning any long upon upgrading from 7.5.1 -> 7.5.2. I have tried commenting out the Ioncube line in php.ini and have no luck. I have checked the httpd error_log and am seeing: PHP Notice: (null)(): Connection failed to localhost.com,143: No...

    Mailman problem

OK, thanks much I'm getting nearly there but the customer is now requesting a couple more items that are stumping me with mailman. First, they don't want their list members to have to remember passwords or even be prompted to enter a password when signing up, basically they want them to be...

I set up mailman for a customer to use for a mailing list and then they informed me that they are not wanting to allow members to mail each other, they simply want to issue mailings and allow members to e-mail administration and of course subscribe and unsubscribe from the list. Is mailman...

    Block Attacking IPs

Is there a way to "detect" when a certain attacker is trying an attack and block this ip? For example, today I was watching my logs (seem to be doing more and more... :) and saw someone trying to brute force into ssh. I subsequently grabbed their ip and blocked that with the firewall, however...

    AWStats!!!

I liked some of the defaults of the plesk functionality better than the ones provided by the referenced explanation above found at: http://www.dotvoid.com/view.php?id=29 If you can follow through the script I adopted, you can make the required changes to the /etc/awstats/awstats.model.conf...

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

And yum update will not toast any plesk configs or functionality? I'm used to the previous versions of plesk which seemed to have its own versions of everything and you were not really able to update things such as apache unless you hacked it in, however it seems that things have changed from...

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

Hmm, hopefully will be the last question... ;) when I run the `yum install qmail-scanner` I am getting (after it searches through the headers): Resolving dependencies .Dependencies resolved I will do the following: [install: qmail-scanner 1:1.23-3.rhfc2.art.noarch] I will...

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

That's super. I was looking at your page and it appears to get it set up correctly with Fedora Core 2 that I simply need to add the following headers (with accompanying info) to yum.conf: [atomic] [app-vault] [psa-7.5] (although I'm on 7.5.1) [base] (Not Sure) [updates] (Not Sure)...

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

Sorry, another quick question... :) I've been reading a slight bit in your forums regarding spamassassin. Do you have a package that also will enable spamassassin on FC2 with Plesk 7.5.1? Thanks!

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

Thanks, I will look into that! Do you have an introductory document that offers a little insight or describes your repository and how to use it? I think (I saw it in passing before while looking at the forums) that you can just pop your listing into apt-get's pkg list or yum, but I was hopeful...

    ClamAV with 7.5.1

I just purchased the SpamAssassin module, however I am also wanting to incorporate ClamAV into this. I've done this before on a FreeBSD server w/o Plesk, however I'm wanting to do this the "right" way on a Plesk server rather than fiddling through it myself. Can someone please provide...
