• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Does this problem occur in SiteBuilder 4, too? Does anyone know if this problem occurs in SiteBuilder 4 as well? Or has it been corrected in SiteBuilder 4 (no patch required)?

    Upgrade from v3 to v4

Will v3 Users be able to update their sites successfully with v4? So will v3 users be able to update their sites with v4 without losses? Since v3 and v4 will not run simultaneously, they will then be using v4 for their sites. So I want to be sure. Thanks.

    Upgrade from v3 to v4

I have several sites using SB3. I wish to upgrade to SB 4. Will this upgrade harm the sites already created in SB 3? Or do I run SB3 and SB4 concurrently? What guffaws might I expect from this upgrade for existing customers?

    Feedback Form message FROM field...?????

Thanks for posting the issue in the knowledgebase This is SWSoft's greatest weakness...the lack of information in the knowledgebase regarding SiteBuilder. So thanks for posting this in the knowledgebase.

    Feedback Form message FROM field...?????

Latest patch DOES work! To get the latest patch to work, I had to delete the existing form, not just edit it, and then recreate a new form (same as the original, just new), and publish the site. It appears that the code which generates the email message is not replaced unless the form is...

    Feedback Form message FROM field...?????

Still same result...no change The server admins have installed the latest patch but the results are the same. No change at all. I have re-done the form and republished the site, on the off chance that that would help. It did not. I have confirmed with the admins that they have installed the...

    Feedback Form message FROM field...?????

Patch still makes no difference We have applied the latest patch provided without any difference in the message that is sent from the feedback form (i.e. the from email address and reply to email address are still anonymouse@SERVERNAME, not the visitor's email input into the form). What next?

Patch did not fix the problem The patch provided did not fix the problem. I have the email field as required, and specified as Visitor's Email (which I think is the default), in the form. The result is the same. No change. As a side note, the patch to fix users logging in being taken to the...

SiteBuilder 3.0.2 (Linux) - Invalid File

Problem Resolved! It would appear that SWSoft has identified the problem. SiteBuilder will not upload the .mov files noted in this thread because they have more than one period in the filename - i.e. movie.tutorial.mov. If this is not the problem, I will respond to this thread to let...

    Feedback Form message FROM field...?????

Messages received from the server using the SB Feedback Form show that the messages were sent from anonymous@MYSITEBUILDERSERVERNAME.COM. This is a problem, in that most people REPLY to these messages, and this email address displaying in the FROM field is not a valid email. The response is just...

What Are v3 Owner's Feelings on the v4 Upgrade

Email incorrect mswope@maccompanion.com is the correct email. It's one used by a review site for me, which forwards email to my regular address. So I don't give it out and wasn't sure what it was exactly.

Try this email address mike@maccompanion.com You might try this email address. It is one that is in the U.S., and forwarded to me. So I think it will work.

What Are v3 Owner's Feelings on the v4 Upgrade

No notification received... I did not receive any email notification of this ticket. I checked all my junk mail messages, too, to be sure my junk mail filter didn't mark it as junk. Nada. If this is coming from out of the U.S., many messages are blocked at the server level due to high...

What Are v3 Owner's Feelings on the v4 Upgrade

Perhaps the ticket wasn't actually submitted I didn't receive any confirmation email. I did get a page that indicated that I did not have a support plan for my SiteBuilder license. So does that mean that the ticket wasn't submitted? I didn't read anything that said it wasn't submitted, but then...

What Are v3 Owner's Feelings on the v4 Upgrade

Confirm File Type = File (not Media) Yes, I am attempting to upload as File, not Media. So that part's good, too. I will open the support ticket. One more question...Can SB3 and SB4 exist simultaneously on the same server?

What Are v3 Owner's Feelings on the v4 Upgrade

Found the php.ini file...still same error... Invalid File After a lot of looking, I found the php.ini file for SiteBuilder. Its limits were 32 MB, well large enough to upload a 9 MB file. I increased these 3 limits to 128M, the same as my standard php.ini. The resulting error, Invalid File...
