• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Wierd Qmail maillog error

Anyone know what this could be or how to get rid of it? It doesn't happen on the same account each time but it invariably happens every time I connect to pull mail. I think it might have something to do with a limit on the number of auth sessions that can be open or something like that...

Plesk Billing upgrade 5.6 standalone to 6 bundled fails.

After hours of fiddling around I think I have Plesk 9 w/Plesk Billing 6 installed. I managed to get my data transferred (I think It's all there -- lots of backups!) however, none of the website widgets work now! I am very disappointed, as are my customers. It worked alot better when it was a...

Thanks....that took care of the problem.... v9 and expand running happily together and all my icon labels are now there. It does appear though that v9 is made up mostly of 8.6 components laid out a little differently. Thanks again for your help.

    mail stopped working after clamd

Just a note to recap this thread..... It appears that to install the latest version of qmail-scanner and clamd requires that you stop psa-spamassassin. If you stop psa-spamassassin and then do the yum install it works perfectly (knock on wood it's still working.) Of course I'll see...

    Plesk8 Error - Apache can't be restarted

Hmmm...I would not worry too much about the Common Name (CN) errors but the other one about mod_rewrite... sounds like you have run out of space on one of your partitions. run a #df on your server and take a look at the space available on all your partitions. Especially look at the partition...

    /var/log/messages

Has Anyone noticed that Plesk 8 appears to not be loggingn anything into the /var/log/messages file? I noticed this when my BFD (Brute Force Detector) wasn't showing any of the incursion attempts I knew were occuring. Does anyone know where the failed login attemps are being logged now?

Does Plesk 8 work with any Zend version????

HEre is the easiest solution: Remove the [Zend] section from /etc/php.ini Add it to the ioncube_loader.ini file AFTER the line loading ioncube. The default Zend installation makes it's changes to php.ini. I'd imaginge that if you tell it initially to modify ioncube-loader.ini instead...
