• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue "Select existing Database" not saved for domains

I'm not getting what you guys are saying... o_O Is it the "list view" that you want? Try the "wrench" icon and select "Classic List" instead of "Active list"... With /smb/web/view /smb/database/list I'm getting the databases for the last subscription I've "visited", not all (system wide)...

... but in any case I'm really not sure "from" and "envelope-from" should be rewritten! Time to dig into RFCs, I'm afraid...

Issue DMARC issue with forward mail

... wait... maybe I have an idea (well, just a small candle, not a bright lamp over my head...): setup a domain with MX to a temporary host you manage shut down that server from your main server forward mail to that domain examine the outgoing message in the queue (it should be... somewhere! :p)

Issue DMARC issue with forward mail

... nothing I can think of... :( If put against a wall with a gun pointed at my face, what I'll try to do is to somehow capture the network traffic between my server and the remote SMTP server. Locally (under Windows) I'll do that using Wireshark, but I don't know how to do that on a remote...

Resolved Mail Relay permitted only to horde

Good. I asked as I haven't seen my answer flagged with a "like" nor as the "best answer" like is customary here., but no problem! Anyway I'm a little bit confused: AFAIK you don't need your IP to be in white list if you authenticate with your SMTP server, and I think Horde should do that user...

Issue after upgrade 17.8.11 - mail server localhost msg issue

... not my experience with my Plesk 17.8.11 #2 server! I have example.com which uses G Suite (GMail) and example.org using local mail, both using my server for other services, and I can send mail between them, no problem... Please, start with this: ssh to your server, then "dig mx example.com"...

Resolved Mail Relay permitted only to horde

... but, with a second thought, this shouldn't be necessary as Horde users should be verified... or at least that's what happens with Roundcube... o_O

Issue Lets Encrypt for www2 domain

Yes that can be a solution too, although not "the Plesk way (tm)" Maybe above I haven't been clear: what I was proposing was to create the domain alias in your in-house Plesk server only...

Forwarded to devs Roundcube "Connection to storage server failed" when securing mail with Let's Encrypt certificate

Yes, I guess this will do (at least until the bug is fixed, something I honestly expect for ME #2...). I also tried setting defaults.inc.php as "immutable" and this too worked but the real effect was that Roundcube updates failed, so I think yours is a better solution.

Issue Lets Encrypt for www2 domain

Assuming from your above answers that in your "in house" server you already have a subscription that covers example.com and www.example.com (let's not talk about a domain owned by the ABC Television Network!), what I'll do is to add a domain alias for www2.example.com. With this in effect...

Question Massive price increase for reseller licenses?

I must add that I was mislead by that @UFHH01 statement: I was sure my subscription would had stayed at the same level as before. Had I knew about this increase I would had taken action much earlier!

Question Massive price increase for reseller licenses?

Same here: bought on-line, paying monthly via Cleverbridge: Old price for my WebPro license was EUR 9. That's a 33% increase. Unacceptable. Looking for FOSS alternatives.
