  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    I have been trying tonight to upgrade from 2.1.3 to 3.0.0 without any luck. apparently there is no way to upgrade using rpm -Uhv. if any of you have a clue of what to do, please let me know, all help is greatly appreciated. Regards,

    at the moment no, and the support for remote mysql server, doesnt means that it can use the mysql on another server for itself. it only gives you the ability to create mysql databases on an external server, which can be at different DC or over private network dedicated only to mysql.

    another wise words, from a wiser man. Markus, SW-SOFT sells Control Panels, not SECURITY software, if you want to keep your servers secure you only have 2 options, learn System Administration (and keep reading/learning every every everey day) or hire someone to do the job.

    my most honest recomendation is to get the server restored and contract any server administrator that can secure your box, basically, the defacements could be done via http injection, probably your server has never been mod_security/mod_evassive "enabled". those 2 modules for apache, are not...
