• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Multiple stuff!

Why are you writing in a big daft font? Everybody can read fonts that are normal size and colour like this. Subdomain creation is easy, you click add subdomain. There is no editing of configuration files. I dont see a problem with having one FTP user per domain name, it has worked well for us...

Mailenable .. jacks up account again

I've never seen this problem, the domain is renamed into the form of "domain.com.d" when the mail services are disabled through the control panel, perhaps somebody is doing this not realising what they are doing?

    Plesk 8

As zeki79 says above you could bind the Plesk apache install to dedicated IP by editing /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/httpd.conf I'd rather not waste an extra IP per server tho, we only have a handful of people who have had problems and they are able to get the port open no problems. If you...

    Plesk 7.6 and PHP5

I would go for option 2, for backwards compatibility default to PHP4. If the admin wishes to upgrade to PHP5 it can be done then. I'm sure it must be possible to support both versions on one server. Plesk sets the mappings for .php to the correct binary, or installs the correct version ISAPI...

    MailEnable Log Rotation Settings

MailEnable does not do any log rotation, I believe it is the statistics utility that does that each time it is ran.

    Corrupted MailEnable Address-Map.tab file?

We also have this problem, it is not as often as it used to be now are using 7.5.6 Perhaps its a locking issue, or maybe a communication issue between the API and Plesk. When it happens all of the data is present, just written mabye over two lines in chunks of data repeated. I'll probably...

    zend optimizer problem

When you say you loose access to the login page, are you referring to Plesk's login? If so, it sounds like Optimizer is installing itself within Plesk's PHP admin install.

    Kaspersky ?

It supports both, it is up to the person installing to choose what they would like to use. If you dont want to use one, use the other. If it really does bother you that much (I cant see why) then try emailing with the question.

    ASP.NET 2.0 Website Version Reset

7.5.5 is out now, 7.5.6 will be some time I would imagine before it is released.

Another stupid question - stuck at the change password page

The hostname needs to be the full name, with a domain name, example: computer.yourdomain.com

    FreeBSD 5.3 Perl port problem

They look like my instructions :D I have upgraded 5 Plesk servers to 7.5.4 FreeBSD and it works fine running those commands before to upgrade perl. You will also need to reinstall any perl modules you might have installed yourself.
