• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SMTP Mail not working after upgrade

I really don't know what I am reading in the maillog, but it doesn't seem to list anything wrong with the site and email address I am using as a test bed. All sites that use the regular domain's mailserver of mail.domain.com for outgoing don't work. Using the server's mailserver works going...

SMTP Mail not working after upgrade

After upgrading to 10.x, the domain outgoing mail has stopped working. Using the usual mail.domainname.com won't send through 587 or 25. Sending securely through the server's certificate and mailserver on 993 for IMAP accounts is fine. Any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks

bug Mysql5 and phpmyadmin 2.8.2.4 urgent release required !

Best thing to do is upgrade phpmyadmin to the later version. It is pretty simple and it worked perfectly on 2 of my servers. One is running 32 bit and the other 64 bit. Here are the instructions: http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=391654&postcount=5

Install phpMyAdmin-2.11.9.5 alt instructions for PSA 9.3.3

I ran into some small roadblocks on both my servers installing zip with patched phpMyAdmin-2.11.?9.5-all-languages and script to migrate settings from phpMyAdmin-2.8.2.4 installed with Plesk according to instructions by Igor. Here is the way I did it successfully on both 32 and 64 bit versions...

451 Error: queue file write error (only when using postfix)

really a problem Made the mistake of switching from Qmail (which at least was working to the best degree possible within its significant limitations) to Postfix before I was aware of this issue. That error is constant and absolutely a deal-breaker for my clients. Soooo... I went back to Qmail...

    php update and sb-publish

Where is it? I need to do the same thing. Also, is sb-publish needed if you uninstall sitebuilder? I heard Plesk may need it for something. If not, then I would like to just leave it out.

Apache service greyed out in CP Services page

The services control for the Apache webserver is greyed out since upgrading to 8.4 from 8.3 on RHEL 4. Also, crons don't run any more. Everything looks fine, but I keep discovering things that aren't working and I think this Apache thing in the CP is the big clue. I just don't know where to...

bug Mysql5 and phpmyadmin 2.8.2.4 urgent release required !

I have the same issue. The problem is it isn't putting a space between the auto increment value and the Default charset command. If I copy and paste the entire sql command into the SQL window and add the space between them, it works. I would like to know how to update PHPMyAdmin to the latest...

Plesk 8.0.1 to 8.1.1 Updater Problem

Got both server CP's back up and thought I was OK as long as I didn't go to updater. WRONG. Both decided to freeze again and are now back down. I wish Plesk would enlighten us with what is going on and how to fix it. Maybe they can't get online!

Plesk 8.0.1 to 8.1.1 Updater Problem

Guessing - Both my Plesk servers are hosed. I didn't even try to update, I just logged on and it was hammered trying to connect with SWSoft. I have rebooted and all and it is still wasted. It appears they have sent a stealth torpedo at all the servers and don't even realize they leaned on...
