• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Error during upgrading from 11.0.9 #54 to 11.5.29

[SOLVED] Error during upgrading from 11.0.9 #54 to 11.5.29 Plesk offered me a upgrade which I just tried. But I get an error in early phases during upgrade and Google did not help at all: ===> Upgrading database Trying to start service mysql... /usr/sbin/mysqld (pid 7951) is running...

IMAP spam folder - emails missing x-spam headers

I don't think it's a bug but rather a feature. Check if you have enabled individual spam filter settings for your mail account. There you can enable "Move spam to Spam folder" which results in the behavior you've described.

    ct-miller error msg.

I am not 100% sure but shouldn't it be enough to remove just the ctmilter part, i.e.

    Postfix virtual.db Permission Denied

As I had the same problem: Check the file permission of the parent folder "plesk". I had to assign 771 to make it work. Don't know why the user is not in group postfix. Sending of mails is now a bit faster.

Can't upgrade from 10.4.4 to 11.x on Ubuntut 8.04.4 LTS

Thanks for your quick reply, but interesting, then there is a discrepancy between the lifecycle and the release notes. The question is which one has the correct information? Moreover the release notes contain some information on Ubuntu 8.04 Igor, could you please verify which information...

Can't upgrade from 10.4.4 to 11.x on Ubuntut 8.04.4 LTS

Hello, I tried to upgrade Plesk from Version 10.4.4 #41 to Plesk 11.x but autoinstaller doesn't provide the upgrade option. According to the Plesk Lifecycle Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS is supported by Plesk 11: http://www.parallels.com/products/plesk/lifecycle I updated all Ubuntu packages and...

10.4 upgrade - postfix adds multiple headers X-No-Auth: unauthenticated sender

I noticed that postfix adds multiple (per recipient) headers to my outgoing mails. Does anybody know the cause of this issue?

Duplicate mail headers with multiple receipients

A customer reported a bug where mails were rejected due to multiple x-headers: For example: The cause are indeed too many x-headers of type x-no-relay in the mail. I could reproduce it by simply adding more multiple recipients to the mail. For every recipient, a separate header tag is...

Plesk 10.4.4 Upgrade SpamAssassin not working

Good job! Now we also know where the handlers are stored. Have you figured out when a specific handler is called or not? I am asking because the spamassassin handler is called for every mail, also internal mail, which is not necessary.

How to skip spamassassin handler for internal mail

Hi! As spamassassin is running again on my machine (*sick*), I have watched the logs a while and noticed two uncommon behaviours on handling internal mail: 1) Spamassassin checks mail between users on the same host (but different domains) 2) Spamassassin checks mail twice in case of...

    When is spamtrain executed?

Hi Igor and rest. Latest Plesk Version uses spamtrain tool to train spam messages being stored in spam folders. Unfortunately this tool is documented less and without modifications you don't even know whether it is working not (no log output). Now I am wondering when (respectively where)...

Plesk 10.4.4 Upgrade SpamAssassin not working

I got it fixed! I was also not able to specify the individual per-user settings for spamassassin. Now it works again. What I did 1) Switched to postfix: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5801 (Spamassassin still did not work) 2) removed spamassassin. For Ubuntu. apt-get remove psa-spamassassin...

Plesk 10.4.4 Upgrade SpamAssassin not working

Same problem here. Did /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam I had this problem in the past after upgrading but it could be simply solved by unchecking/checking server-wide spam filter in the settings. But not now. spamd and spammng are running, but simply the qmail-handler is not...

Mailman problems after switching to Plesk 10.2

Mailman problems after switching to Plesk 10.2

thanks for you reply Igor. I tried your suggestion, but without success. Actually I don't think it is an issue related to mailman but rather to qmail and its mailman integration. The smtp server doesn't not accept any mail to the above mentioned mailman addresses. It immediately rejects it...

Mailman problems after switching to Plesk 10.2

Hi. Assume I have a list called "test1". Plesk does accept mails to this lists and forwards the mails to the members. So the primary function of mailman is satisfied. But qmail does NOT accept mails to: test1-owner@... test1-request@... test1-subscribe@... etc.. Qmail says: No...
