  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Come on Parallels, another version without IPv6 support :( We can't keep using Plesk for much longer without IPv6 support. At least compile sw-cp-server and qmail with IPv6 support so we can do the rest ourselves!

    Yes, but with the default zone settings it will take 24 hours for the DNS change to propagate around the world. And as soon as you change the IP in Plesk, the site will no longer be available on the old IP which means that people who have not yet received the new DNS will not be able to reach...

    In my opinion this is a serious design flaw in Plesk, since it makes it very hard to change the IP for a domain. You'll want a domain to be available on two IP's during the DNS transition.
