• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    What to do with Watchdog.

    Okay, from what I've briefly read, this "Watchdog" script is crappy. I discovered there was some sort of problem because qMail kept stopping. This randomly happened and it was really ticking me off. Either way. My question is: Do really need to disable and remove the entire Watchdog module...

    Plesk 7.5.2 Released!

    Anyone know if there's going to be a 7.5.3? I'm waiting at Plesk 7.1 to upgrade, but I don't want to bother if they're just going to put out another patched release shortly. Any insight? ~Matt

    Upgrade Feedback (7.1.6 -> 7.5.2)

    Emm. I like Plesk, I love the interface, I love the ease-of-use, I love the support, hell, I love these forums. The thing that pushes my buttons are the pricing (but every company has to make money), the buggy upgrades that cause problems (their QA team seems to be slackers) and one thing that...

    Upgrade Feedback (7.1.6 -> 7.5.2)

    Jan, that's funny about what you said, "I am even planning on writing my own control pannel". We've considered doing this _so_ many times now it's not even funny. Every time we put it off because we have so much else on our plate. Some day... some day... ~Matt

    Upgrade Feedback (7.1.6 -> 7.5.2)

    Oh yeah, that's exactly what I just had setup today. I run that with qmhandle, although I expect I won't have to run qmhandle now. I've attached a graph to this message, check it out. It's crazy. Basically, I had qmhandle running every 2 hours to remove all messages with "failure notice"...

    Upgrade Feedback (7.1.6 -> 7.5.2)

    Here's the story, and it's a sad one basically. Some friggen spammer is basically sending spam through my server using bounce messages which is very very common now as I understand. Well, today was the day I got friggen blacklisted by SpamCop and since I'm currently running Plesk 7.1.6...
