• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Preferred backup solution?

I've a self hosted setup, never tried the cloud solution. In my opinion the distance is not important in daily replications and small restores, buy it will become important during the first replication and in case of bare metal restores or huge restores (and when you are in a hurry too :-). I...

Update from 12.0 to 12.5 and PHP-FPM do not dot work

Hello, I just updated from 12.0 to 12.5 on CentOS 6.7 and I do not get the choice to select PHP PFM server by Apache. Nginx is enabled, "5.6.17 FPM application" is enabled in "Tools & Settings" -> "PHP Settings", "PHP-FPM 5.6.17" is grayed out and not clickable in "Services Management". Oto...

The following settings conflict with the policy: PHP version

I've the same behaviour. It's due to the plan option "Setup of potentially insecure web scripting options that override provider's policy". If you do not enable it you cannot select another PHP version or handler. I do believe that's wrong but that's the Plesk setup at the moment.

    Plans & Prices confuse

That doesn't seem true to me. I have a Plesk Web Host license and I have just one language pack available. I had to buy another one to have two of them enabled at the same time. The same happen with the Web Pro edition, just one language without buying any option. A prosperous new year for...

Please abdi, I see you are an expert, be more specific. On a fresh installation, with SElinux enabled and using PHP 5.3 FastCGI, can I use the Application Installer to install WordPress and will it work correctly? I ask 'cause that is not my case, I have several problems and denies. It's my...

    Is plesk compatible with selinux?

I ended up disabling SElinux. The file with SElinux messages is /var/log/audit/audit.log, there were many denied messages. The point is that I'm working on a fresh installed Plesk 12.5 version and WordPress, I was working on, has been installed by the Plesk Application installer. So that Plesk...

Error with ASL mod_security basic (Atomic Basic ModSecurity)

In my opinion the problem is in the ASL update process. It is not able to update the rules and deletes the file "/etc/httpd/conf/modsecurity.d/rules/tortix/modsec/50_plesk_basic_asl_rules.conf" leaving apache in a unfunctional state. I believe this is the key: c_modsec::apply_rules There is a...
