• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    8.3 - another YAWN release

My "Virtuozzo sales" is The Planet (EV1) and they will not give me access, saying they were not allowed by you to give this access. They were kind enough to copy a pile of RHEL5 rpm's into a directory on my server, now I just have to find out how to use "EZ" templates. The latest Virtuozzo...

    8.3 - another YAWN release

I just tried downloads.swsoft.com with the working user/pass from my vzup2date config but it didn't work: "The login information you provided was invalid. Please check your Username and Password and try again"

    8.3 - another YAWN release

Actually I can't see the details of which RHEL templates are available but I think from memory it's RHEL3 and RHEL4 (We only use RHEL4). +------------------+ OS templates selection +-------------------+...

    8.3 - another YAWN release

I don't specify anything particularly with vzup2date, if there was anything there saying RHEL5 I would take it. We have used Virtuozzo since the 2.x days and always used the standard format templates. Is there any documentation explaining how to create ve's using EZ templates anywhere?

    8.3 - another YAWN release

Ok, Virtuozzo 4. I assumed it would be Virtuozzo 5 as it would be in sync with RHEL5,PHP5 and MySQL 5...

    8.3 - another YAWN release

Partly because this is what your Virtuozzo engineers have told me, partly because there are no RHEL5 templates available for Virtuozzo.

    8.3 - another YAWN release

I know there is no Virtuozzo 5 release, that's my complaint. We beta tested it months ago, it should be released any day soon ... but as always it's harder to get a release date from you guys than to get blood from a stone. RHEL5 may be supported by Plesk but it is not supported by Virtuozzo...

    8.3 - another YAWN release

As per http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/plesk/new/, the only new thing in the Linux version is per-domain bandwidth management and some useless virus scanner stats. How about getting with your customers Swsoft. We need the Virtuozzo5/RHEL5/PHP5/MySQL5 package on the road, how about...

STILL no suPHP support in Plesk 8.2 -- SWsoft R U listening?

You seem to forget that RHEL does not support YUM - and that RHEL is the only commercially supported enterprise level Linux OS.

    Stale data in /usr/local/psa/PMM/var

I agree, but I was hoping someone from Swsoft would confirm it.

    Stale data in /usr/local/psa/PMM/var

What about /usr/local/psa/PMM/tmp - it seems to basically be a copy of /var/www/vhost/*.*

    Stale data in /usr/local/psa/PMM/var

I have no current migrations, yet I still have 10+ GB of what appears to be stale data (old files) under /usr/local/psa/PMM/var. Can I delete those data?

STILL no suPHP support in Plesk 8.2 -- SWsoft R U listening?

Some of us use Virtuozzo and install packages via Virtuozzo templates for performance reasons.

    Unable to login

So how did you solve the problem? I have the same problem, using a load balancing router and two ISP's confuse Plesk. There must be a way to tell Plesk not to force the IP test !

    "Hide News Feeds" not working

That goes without saying, but it was already made clear in another thread that the inclusion of this spam in Plesk was decided on the top exec level and was not going to be changed. I think it's outrageous but am sufficiently tied in with Virtuozzo/Plesk that it would mean considerable work...
