• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved can not add new filter to fail2ban

Hi, Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I've got the same problem here - @UFHH01 - I've tried following what you said but still it does not list. The readme says copy and change from .conf to .local. However, the file gets created as .local Nonetheless I copy the file to /etc/fail2ban...

Question SSLRenegBufferSize - Where to set it?

I forgot... I solved this already! I really need more sleep. I'm using CloudFlare as a CDN and they don't support it.

Question SSLRenegBufferSize - Where to set it?

I think so :) Well, I thought so anyway... I am trying to solve a problem where I cannot upload large files (anything over 100MB) via SSL. This is one of the things which people suggest. It seems though I am chasing a red herring - I cannot upload large files over http either. Before you roll...

Question SSLRenegBufferSize - Where to set it?

hi, I (think I) need to set the following in the httpd.conf file: SSLRenegBufferSize 1048600000 I have tried setting it in the value "SSLRenegBufferSize 1048600000" in the "Additional directives for HTTP" or "Additional directives for HTTPS" but it says it's not valid. I tried putting it...

Resolved Email to ignore after +

Hi, Thanks for the pics. I understand what it all is - I was just wondering if the mail server plesk uses can ignore anything after the +. As you've said though - it can't. This is not the end of the world though as it does work without it. :) Thanks for your time and help - much appreciated! C

Resolved Email to ignore after +

Hi, The problem with that is that I don't know what the aliases are. The forum (XenForo) sends emails with a return address of bounce+<guid>@tld.com. It then monitors the bounce email account for replies and if a reply has the +<guid> then it knows exactly to whom the email was sent and deal...

Resolved Email to ignore after +

Thanks for the reply. That's brilliant to know. So, by allowing a plus into the username, ergo email address, does that then ignore everything after the plus? So, I need bounce+123@ and bounce+456 to both be picked up by bounce@. I already have a catch-all which sends to info@ so cannot...

Resolved Email to ignore after +

Hi folks, In gmail you can have an email address such as CoolName@gmail.com You can also have CoolName+123@gmail.com In fact, you can have anything after the "+" - it becomes a wildcard. Is this possible with plesk / other? I have an email address, bounce@tld.com but my forum sends emails...

    Issue Everything is 404

It appears I screwed nginx and apache up. I've not slowly walked backupwards and undid everything I did. I also removed ngixn from the system as I feel it adds complexity which does not benefit me. Thanks for the help though! C

    Issue Everything is 404

So I've worked out that all domains are pointing to /default and not to the domain folder itself. Any domain I have shows in Plesk with the expected path but apache is only looking at /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs/ Why would that be and how can I fix that? Thanks Crispin
