• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    SpamAssassin? Add on module

I had Spamassassin support in 7.5.4 via the plesk interface... But after the upgrade to 8.0.0, I couldn't find the spamassassin configuration anymore (generally under mail config of a domain). It was simply due to the automatic (by the update) server-wide deactivation of spamassassin. I...

php.ini and include path changed in plesk 8.0

I had almost the same problem... It was due to a precedent install of Zend Optimizer on 7.5.4. I had a new php.ini of 5 lines length after the upgrade to 8... I had to use an old backed-up php.ini. See this thread: http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32219

After scheduled backup began, server blocked...

Try stopping the cron job linked to the daemon "updatemng". Also try to update your version of Plesk. This helps me getting my server working again and I don't use the auto-ftp backup anymore.

After scheduled backup began, server blocked...

Hi, My config: Fedora Core 2/Plesk 7.5r I defined scheduled FTP backups for each of the domain I host (about 15). Each backup had to start at 1am (same time for every domain)... I tried the FTP settings => worked well via a manual FTP backup (still in Plesk). Then, the scheduled...
