• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Plesk Onyx Preview and FeedBack

Hello Custer, thanks a lot for your reply. Oh well that is unfortunate for us :-( We really want and need to update our servers to a newer Plesk version _with_ centralized Mail... Do you have an ETA for us when the Multi Server extension will be available? Is is planned that the centralized...

Resolved Plesk Onyx Preview and FeedBack

Hello everybody, as there seems to be the possibility to finally have a central mailserver again (we are STILL stuck here with Plesk Expand and Plesk 8.6), I set up a new CentOS7 VM and installed Onyx (17.0.15). Setup went fine (just our normal security fixes for the /tmp - directory killed the...

    MU17 not available?!

Hello everbody! Again a new MU was published today, MU 17. Unfortunately, the KB-Article doesn't say what the security flaw was... And I cannot install it, the autoinstaller doesn't know (yet?!) of the new MU... Have you been able to install it? Thanks a lot and best regards, Chris

    Security problem with filemng

Here the updates to 8.6 Linux worked well but we now have problems with our 9.5.5 central eMail-Server (Windows)... See thread here: http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=631297&postcount=7 I hope Parallels really gets those security flaws under control... It is not a good feeling to...

    Support for Merak 9.4.2

    Support for Merak 9.4.2

Igor, thanks for your quick reply. But please inform the devs, that we also need (!) the support for Merak v10 in Plesk 8.6! We (Expand-Customers) CANNOT use any Plesk 9.x-Version!! So we are stuck with Plesk 8.6. for our central mail! Thanks for your help and support! Christian

    Support for Merak 9.4.2

Igor, thanks for your reply. We Expand customers can still not upgrade to Plesk 9.x (for over 1 year now !!!!), and still there is NO support for the new merak mailserver! It has been communicated for over a 3/4 year now that the new version 10 will come out. Why isn't there still no...

    Support for Merak 9.4.2

Maverick, thanks for your reply. We have now also upgraded and also found the problem with Autoresponders... As a workaround we have disabled the Autoresponder-Icon in Plesk and have adviced all customers to switch the function ON and OFF via Merak WebMail. I am really curious of the...

Today an important security update for all previous Versions of Merak has been released, all customers are greatly asked to update. Can we safely update to this version? Thanks a lot and best regards, Christian

    Support for Merak 9.3.2

Well I think it is their responsibility to test a new version of a software they officially support and rely on (as one of the supported centralized mailservers). Normally one waits for the "go" that a new version works with another software and then starts testing... And not testing completely...

    Support for Merak 9.3.2

No I don't think so... Parallels has enough techs to test this as they (should) have a fairly automated testing system. They could really easily have tested it against their test specs. As their result is important to all plesk users (who use Merak), this is much more valuable than me testing...

    Support for Merak 9.3.2

Never mind... We have just tried it with 9.3.2. ourselves and it seems to work... Thanks to parallels for their unbelievable quick help and support in simply testing a new merak version... (<- irony (!!) )

    Support for Merak 9.3.2

Hey :-) Well that's terrible news :-( I hope they will at least support Merak 10 as soon as it comes out... Btw: Why doesn't anybody of SWSoft/Parallels simply take one test setup and check if Merak 9.3.2 runs? I think it will as there haven't been any changes in the API afaik... But I...

    Support for Merak 9.3.2

Hello! We are currently using Merak 9.2.1 and would really like to upgrade to Merak 9.3.2 as there are lots of new features and bug fixes. Is (or when will) that new Merak Version be supported? And is SWSoft ready for the (soon to be released) Version 10 of Merak? Please don't let us...

    Merak 9.1 New Install

Sergius, thanks for your reply. After the installation, Plesk found Merak. But it would be great if it would find it already during the installation-program ;-) Best regards, Christian

    Merak 9.1 New Install

Sergius, thanks for your reply! And does Plesk find Merak after the installation? Not that the system gets screwed up... I will also leave the webmail out right? (As I will use Merak WebMail) Thanks again! :-)
