• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to block countries via Cloudflare's HTTP_CF_IPCOUNTRY data?

Hi, we have one Drupal site which is costing a fortune in spurious International traffic. We are using cloudflare, which is reducing much traffic, but not enough, since many requests are to non-cacheable pages. I have turned on the HTTP_CF_IPCOUNTRY header at cloudflare, so every request for...

Trying to block direct access to a drupal URL

Hi, I forgot I had posted about this in this forum as well. Yes, I spotted the dot problem - and then once I realised the directory didn't exist I moved it to the Virtual URL rewriting block in the .htaccess In the end the attacks turned out to be more widespread, and we've put the site...

Trying to block direct access to a drupal URL

[Resolved] Trying to block direct access to a drupal URL I have a problem with one URL on my server getting 250,000+ hits a month from spambots trying to register for the site. Although we are using a Drupal 7 module to detect and ignore those bots, that still results in the site serving two...

New server - how do I authenticate mail senders

The apps are already using localhost and port 25. My old server OS had a checkbox "use external email" which stopped the system from trying to deliver mail locally. The "Configure the MTA" bit is the puzzle - the only controls in the UI allow even further tightening things by disallowing all...

Plesk novice: problems installing miva executable

Latest progress after bashing away at this some more: I confirmed that files I put in the domain's own conf folder are not getting parsed (but the plesk generated ones are). I haven't been able to find where in the apache conf file chain it sets up includes for virtual hosting. I tried using...

Plesk novice: problems installing miva executable

No, because that would not work. Up until version 3.9, mivascript was an interpreted language. From version 4 onwards it is a compiled language running on a VM. (Miva Corp made a bad mistake in keeping the "Empresa" name for a totally different product. The Plesk setup includes version 5.x...
