• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Best practice (and current) anti-spam practices in Plesk

Thanks IgorG. I have read that document. I also employ DKIM and SPF DNS settings for my own domains, but haven't enabled filtering for inbound email. These methods require the cooperation of the other end of the chain. Research hasn't given me the confidence to start denying inbound mail yet...

Best practice (and current) anti-spam practices in Plesk

I have Plesk 12 (haven't upgraded to 12.5 yet) on 2008 R2. I want to know if there are some obvious things to do to reduce spam that I haven't done yet. Currently I have SpamAssassin enabled and use three different DNS blacklists. MailEnable seams to complain if I use four or more. I chose these...

FATAL_ERROR: [MYSQL ERROR] Unable to execute query. Error: Table 'psa.domainaliases'

This is a really old thread. I ended up pulling the trigger and just doing the update. I had no problems that I was able to detect afterwords, but the details are lost from memory at this point. I had the server backed up in case I needed to do a restore, but wasn't necessary here.

Plesk updated to 11.5, still running MailEnable 5.10?

According to that same page, one section up, 7.50 is also supported and was supposed to be an included component. Why wasn't it upgraded with the panel when I went from 11 to 11.5? What should I do going forward? Upgrade to 7.07 from the MailEnable website? Or is there a way to get 7.50 from...

Plesk updated to 11.5, still running MailEnable 5.10?

I'm not sure why MaiEnable isn't getting updated with the rest of the panel, but it isn't. Is it safe to install 7.52 over 5.10 manually? The ME website indicates they're careful to inter-operate with Plesk. I'm wondering if anyone else has done this. Thanks!

I'm getting this same error message on the same platform. Was this ever resolved?

FATAL_ERROR: [MYSQL ERROR] Unable to execute query. Error: Table 'psa.domainaliases'

I don't have any of the domains on my server using an alias. I created an alias on one domain and re-ran the pre-upgrade checker. Still got the message. Is this safe to ignore? If I do ignore it and it otherwise updates successfully, will I still have use of the feature in the future?

FATAL_ERROR: [MYSQL ERROR] Unable to execute query. Error: Table 'psa.domainaliases'

Clicked the link in the Panel's Home tab that said "Install Now". The upgrade documentation said this was OK. Server OS is Win2008 R2 Web.

FATAL_ERROR: [MYSQL ERROR] Unable to execute query. Error: Table 'psa.domainaliases'

Currently at 10.4.4 Update #39. Looking to update to 11.0.9 and got this error: FATAL_ERROR: [MYSQL ERROR] Unable to execute query. Error: Table 'psa.domainaliases' doesn't exist I can create the table, but, why is this missing? Is this for cnames? edit: missed tail part of error. It's...

    Enable SSL for email?

bump? I'm assuming this should work out of the box in the default install correct? It did on a past Linux install.

    Enable SSL for email?

It's late, and I'm tired. So hopefully I'm just missing something obvious due to lack of sleep. I've not been able to establish why SSL isn't an option for connecting email client to my 10.4 panel. For the moment, I'm just using the default cert. The domains show SSL as being enabled. Netstat...
