I had the same error message after switching from Zendserver back to the default PHP packages. Turned out that some packages were still missing, namely php-pear and php5-dev (on a Debian server).

A similar problem was posted here. Could you fix your problem?

After that, updating Debian Lenny to Squeeze was easy. Just follow the instructions and run Plesk´s autoinstaller afterwards: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller

No need to restart the server: echo ipv6 >> /etc/modules && modprobe ipv6 && lsmod | grep ipv6 After that, process the queue to see if mails are being sent: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mailqueuemng -a && tail -f /var/log/mail.info

Thx, just adding ipv6 in /etc/modules and restarting the server fixed the problem.

I cannot help with the main problem, but for the timezone: Plesk uses a separate php.ini in "/opt/psa/admin/conf/php.ini". If you add the timezone setting there, you should at least get rid of that warning. hth, Lars
