Resolved Is it possible to make changes to Plesk Firewall from the command line?

Thanks IgorG... Weird, I couldn't find that KB at all yesterday. I did actually search for it. Maybe I used the wrong search terms. Anyways thank you!

Resolved Is it possible to make changes to Plesk Firewall from the command line?

Hi all, I am trying to learn how to setup a server from the command line, instead of by using the Plesk control panel. So far, I can manage everything from the command line. Which will be a time-saver, except for one thing; the Plesk Firewall. Is it possible to make visible changes in there as...

Question Changing PHP CLI version (with symlinks), is that good or bad?

Still waiting for answer on this. If it's not to much to ask... :(

    Question Overuse policy question.

I have a quick question about Plesk's "Overuse policy". We normally use the option "Overuse is not allowed" on all our servers. And we also set the option " Notify when disk space usage reaches at 85%". Will this still mean that the user will get an email to their address when they are passing...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

I really thought YUM would automatically install the latest version. My bad. :) Sorry IgorG and thanks again for explaining. Will give this a new go. Highly appreciated.

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

I actually did read that, however I thought those versions were even older and also it's for i686 not x86_64?

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Sorry for the late reply, but was out a few days with the flu (still not feeling well, but duty calls...). I am pretty sure that libmemcached-devel is correctly installed. Not much can go wrong with the use of yum for it imho. See: yum install libmemcached-devel Package...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

    Thank you for your help, but still the exact same issue though: make /bin/sh /php-memcached/libtool --mode=compile cc -I/opt/plesk/php/7.0/include/php -I. -I/php-memcached -DPHP_ATOM_INC -I/php-memcached/include -I/php-memcached/main -I/php-memcached -I/opt/plesk/php/7.0/include/php...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Yeah, was without issues. I just ran the command on one of our own servers once again: ./configure --disable-memcached-sasl --with-php-config=/opt/plesk/php/7.0/bin/php-config checking for grep that handles long lines and -e... /bin/grep checking for egrep... /bin/grep -E checking for a sed...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I run into an issue. A customer wants Memcached on his PHP 7.0. I followed the tutorial IgorG to the letter, however I run into a problem. When I run the 'make' command I get the following error: php-memcached]# make /bin/sh /tmp/php-memcached/libtool...

Question Changing PHP CLI version (with symlinks), is that good or bad?

I was setting up a new server (for ourselves) for hosting accounts and therefor I needed to install Installatron once again. So, as usual, I set up the new server in the same way I normally do, including changing the PHP CLI version with symlinks. For your information, if I run "php -v" I get...

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Highly appreciated!

Resolved Limit the amount of user backups created in "/var/lib/psa/dumps" ?

Thank you Peter. I never seen that setting before! I checked a few of our servers and all seem to have that enabled, except (you have guessed it) the server which was giving the problems! Apparently this was switched off by someone.... Thank you for pointing this out. Now this issue has been...

Question Changing PHP CLI version (with symlinks), is that good or bad?

Thanks for replying. His comment was made after I tried to install Installatron. It wouldn't install and he said it was because of I changed the PHP version due to CLI. However I doubt this is the issue and I have done it several times. Heck, there is even a workaround for it, when PHP 7.0...

Resolved Limit the amount of user backups created in "/var/lib/psa/dumps" ?

The backups created in the /var/lib/psa/dumps are not calculated into the customer's hosting package and/or space available to them. This has nothing to do with overselling.

Resolved Limit the amount of user backups created in "/var/lib/psa/dumps" ?

I am a hosting provider lol. I want to limit our customers from abusing the backup location /var/lib/psa/dumps. I would have preferred that we, as hosting providers, could set a limit and location for the customers backup. Like within their own hostingaccount. This options should have been...

Can someone please provide an answer on this?

Resolved Limit the amount of user backups created in "/var/lib/psa/dumps" ?

Yes, I did that yesterday, however they still can add a ton of incremental updates? But maybe it will be better, will keep a track of things.

Resolved Limit the amount of user backups created in "/var/lib/psa/dumps" ?

I tried searching for a solution for this, however I cannot seem to find one. Let me explain something first; we received a warning of Nagios that one of our servers was running out of space. At first I couldn't see the issue, not that many clients and also nothing out of the ordinary towards...

Question Changing PHP CLI version (with symlinks), is that good or bad?

    * small bump * I was hoping to get an answer of my question, though it might sound "stupid", I really wish to know this?
