Plesk does not care about this. Roundcube 1.4 works in Plesk (supported) when you purchase their Kolab mess. So if you want the new Roundcube supported by Plesk, then: Wait a couple of months or even years before Plesk finally adds official support (probably Roundcube 1.5 is released by then)...
