is the domain pointed to the server ? You have to point the domain to the sevrer or modify your hosts file in your PC.

I didn't say that it will work for you. I've only made an exact clone of my production system and gave them (plesk support guys) to play with it for a week. The idea to switch the .exe from the repaired clone server was mine as that was the only file which was different on the repaired server...

Check if IIS User has the proper permissions to write this file (via File Manager). I've upgraded too and some of the permissions on my .mdb files were gone after upgrade.

Ask your provider about the possibilty to access the DB directly. We are providers too and we don't give the direct access (via Enterprise Manager) to anyone but authorized IPs on hosting machines. Plesk Web based access does not require do open port 1433 of server.
