Issue No such user in mail authorization database

Could you please help by suggesting some clues or any step to solve this truly urgent matter? All accounts have passwords set, so perhaps passwords are not the cause in this case. I have found the following on the net and I am not sure if it is the right fix:- Fixing broken mail handlers do...

Issue No such user in mail authorization database

Update: Have tried plesk repair mail. No errors or warnings. I'm a complete novice but out of desperation have been searching for any clues. I've noticed on a couple of "problem" emails that the "Access to the Customer Panel" is checked. I wonder if this is related to the problem?

Issue No such user in mail authorization database

Thank you, m3lezZ, for your suggestion. In that post, the old "secret_key" is required. Unfortunately I don't have it. The migration was 2 months ago and the old system is no longer there.

Issue No such user in mail authorization database

Hi, I discovered 3 days ago that many emails were not delivered. The maillog in /var/log/ contains numerous lines like "No such user examples@my-domain.com in mail authorization database". I believe this problem started after a recent migration, but because there are hundreds of these...

Resolved Does a second migration update a previous one?

Thank you, trialotto, for the detailed notes. I will carefully consider them before proceeding. Kind regards.

Resolved Does a second migration update a previous one?

Monty, Thank you ever so much for both responses. Very useful. There is only one domain (and one subscription). I am more confident now that, if the database on the new server is empty, then restoring the database should work. Best regards!

Resolved Does a second migration update a previous one?

Hi Monty, Thank you for your answer. I agree with your approach. However, in our case, the target server should be unproductive for as short a time as possible - preferably one hour only. Let me explain briefly. The PHP script on the target server is outdated (PHP 4). PHP 7 is installed on...

Resolved Does a second migration update a previous one?

Ok, let me phrase the question a different way in the hope that someone would reply: After migration, the MYSQL + PSA databases on the target server will have changed (few more entries) in each. If I do the following:- 1. dump both databases on the target server 2. manually transfer the sql...

Any chance of a response, please? :)

Resolved Does a second migration update a previous one?

Hi, I have migrated a website to another server for testing purposes. In the meantime, the target server changed slightly, including some entries in the database and a few files in its content. Now, if I migrate again, will it overwrite the previous migration altogether or simply update it...

    Resolved pleskrestore failure

Hi, I am trying to restore a mysql db via SSH. Uploaded the backup file "bk.sql" to server, and from the same directory, used the following command:- plesk bin pleskrestore --restore bk.sql I get the following message:- Unable to import file as dump: The file you are trying to upload is not a...

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

Well done, Peter :) Domain renamed - all 8000+ emails and aliases. Thank you ever so much!

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

I believe your suggestion will definitely work. But I need a bit of time to try it. Before reading your message, I deleted all email entries from psa tables via ssh, repaired the database, restarted the server, tried renaming the domain. It worked like a breeze. This proves that the problem...

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

Peter, I have tried all the steps you suggested - still the same wretched message is displayed. As a last resort, I want to try this and see if it makes a difference. There are about 8000 emails + aliases used by domain.com, and for some reason the renaming fails when only about 4000 are...

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

No worries .. it happens to me all the time. I was just wondering why it says " ... Check the results in a few minutes." And does it mean to repeat the renaming attempt in few minutes? OR " . wait and see if it has accomplished the renaming process?".

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

Hi Peter, plesk repair domain <domainname> didnot work for me but I tried plesk repair web <domainname> and it checked the domain. No errors found. I tried repair all => #(plesk repair all -y -v. It checked all sorts and the result was: Error messages: 0; Warnings: 0; Errors resolved: 0 Then...

I have followed the suggestion on this page: Disable Apache graceful restart and disabled it, but it didn't make a difference!

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

Thank you, Peter. I have restarted all Plesk services to no avail. The same message is displayed, and panel.log states again "Maximum execution time of 600 exceeded .. etc.." The odd thing is that the domain.com has no entries in psa "spamfilter" table. When renamingit to domain.net it tries...

Resolved Renaming a domain + operation taking too long + Maximum execution time

Hi I am trying to rename a domain, after 10 minutes it stops with the following message:- This operation is taking too long. Check the results in a few minutes. I waited for an hour - no change! The log file: "/var/log/plesk/panel.log" contains this:- [13-Apr-2019 01:03:13 Europe/London] PHP...
