does anyone else get these 499 codes? update: the client (gets a "the domain.com took too long to repond") message in the browser? I believe this is related to the 499 codes? there is an issue, but not sure how or where or how to help my client? do i say its your fault? is there something...

so i figured out the "reason", but not the cause. the preview links that showed up in the SERPs were 3 links to the sites from my website, where I host plesk. HOWEVER... obviously I did not, no way, no how... "add or create" those links. somehow, when I migrated to plesk onyx .... "something...

FYI. the fix is not fixed on Onyx (linux).... and it makes no sense to add a noindex tag on a live site. the preview site just SHOULD NOT be showing up in SERPs :(

yes :) so I created the sub domain and installed WP there. FYI. I do use duplicator and like it. all works as expected... at first, I was thinking a sub.domain.com would not = dommain.com, but at end of day... its just a variable. thanks

so thinking... if I went with subdomain, maybe I will not have issues? I guess after all... the root domain is "set" in the database... its just used as a variable... right? o_O:confused:

Plesk goes against one of the pitfalls and does what nginx says is wrong: For setting the domain option: none, www, or non-www, plesk is doing this: if ($host ~* ^domain\.com$) { rewrite ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com$1 permanent; } but it should be like this (use 2 server directives)...
