If you can't wait... Install Centos6 minimal setup. Change /etc/redhat-release to read Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 6.0 (Final) and the installer is working.

make sure you use the latest version of the autoinstaller! I used an older version and got the same problems, new version solved it.
