• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Migration Manager and cgi-bin permissions

I am having a problem with migration manager when migrating domains from 10.x to 11.x. The problem is with the permissions for the "cgi-bin" directory. After migration, the cgi-bin group is set to "psacln". It should be set to "psaserv". With it set to "psacln" Apache says it can't get at...

SSL certificate not showing in SSL certificate list

I had a web site using a shared IP address. We wanted to add an SSL certificate to it. Since SNI doesn't appear ready for prime time, we wanted to put this site on its own IP address. We installed the new certificate using the domain's control panel, then went into the administrative panel...

This is a domain that was just migrated from Plesk 8.4 on FreeBSD to Plesk 10.4.4 on Ubuntu. The offending line is in this block: Notice the "FCGIWrapper" line is messed up. It should be "FCGIWrapper /var/www/cgi-bin/cgi_wrapper/cgi_wrapper .php". Since Plesk generates this file...

    Upgrading Apache on Ubuntu 10.04

I need to upgrade Apache on Ubuntu 10.04 running Plesk 10.4.4 #16. When I ran "apt-get install apache2", it printed some stuff out that gave me pause. The area of concern is the list of packages that are going to be "REMOVED". It lists a whole bunch of "psa" stuff, which looks like is...
