• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Resolved Renaming domain root directories

Hello, I've recently 'inherited' the job of managing a server that is using the Plesk (latest Onyx) interface. Unfortunately, their 'webspaces' are a mess: containing several domains each, some of these point to 'httpdocs' folders, others to 'htdocs' folders (and other 'default' names probably...

Plesk installed on php 5.2.10... update php, and make Plesk use new version?

Hello, This is sort of a follow-up to my "nginx 502 bad gateway" thread, and a php-mysql version-particular 'bug' I found therein. I've upgraded Plesk to version 12.5.x, but it's running on the php 5.2.10 I installed on the server (or its own, not sure). I've installed the later php versions...

Plesk Certificate Generation = 502 bad gateway

Hello, I'm running Plesk 12.5.30 on Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS‬. I've been pulling my hair out over this for a couple of days... I'd like to update my (expired) SSL certificates, but the thing is, even when trying to create an 'experimental' one, every time I hit 'self-signed' I get a "502 Bad...

safe_mode turned on after update - but where?

Hello, I'm having a major problem with running cronjobs on my server since my update to 8.3. I'd installed an ftp server, and gave one "web user" permissions to modify anything in the contents of the "web_user" folder... since Plesk sets web_user folder permissions to 0750, I created a php...

Hello. I'm using Plesk 8.2 on my dedicated server, and have been trying to install/activate the geoIP perl/c extension (plugin) for AWstats - with no luck. If I understand correctly, a basic install needs some tweaking because of Plesk's particular method of managing vHosts. Can anyone talk me...

    updating proftpd to proftpd-mysql

I am a bit dismayed at Plesk's limited support for ftp - I would like to set up multiple accounts, each limited to their own "jail" directory. I have managed to find a workaround that I can manage through my own web interface (using php), but for this I will need proftpd-mysql and not the base...
