• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How can an e-mail user change its own password?

Tested it here too and works like a charm, users are even able to edit their forwarding rules and set their own auto-relpy messages. As I'm migrating from another structure, now I need to know how to create a user+mailbox using one the available command lines, /usr/local/psa/bin/user and...

How can an e-mail user change its own password?

Amazingly cool, man. I think not even the highest level of Parallels support staff knows about it. I hope it's not a bug to be removed. I can't thank you enough for that.

How can an e-mail user change its own password?

I would agree with you if mailboxes were also created in Horde or any other webmail, but you need to access Plesk Panel to create them, afaik, there is no other way of doing this besides, of course, command line plesk utilities, so why not provide also a form so I can change my own mailbox...

How can an e-mail user change its own password?

I've got to the same conclusion but I can't believe that and I can't use Horde, my clients won't like it at all. And if I get a customer that says: "no user of mine will have access to a webmail!". What do I do? So I'll have to develop an interface to do it myself (?). Change password...

How can an e-mail user change its own password?

I think (and I need) that all users should have the ability to change their own passwords and no one (not even a site owner) should have access to others passwords. That being said, is there a Plesk function that provides that? A Parallels Panel Technical representative named Rohit R is...

Mail Group disabled using mail command

There is another function missing from this command: turning on/off spamfilter for the mailbox, like you can do for antivirus. The problem is that I'm mass migrating a lot of domains from my current Debian server, manually managed, to an Ubuntu, with Plesk Panel and it would be a pain to edit...

Mail Group disabled using mail command

It is not. I was hoping it could be in another tool, because names are a little different, almost conflicting (forwarding and mail group). But thanks for your answer, Abdi. :)

Guys, I'm using this command to create my forwards: /usr/local/psa/bin/mail --update name@domain.com -forwarding-addresses add:othername@domain.com It works, but they are all disabled in panel. I need to know if there is a command line to enabled it or will I have to go to every...
