Is there any way to make it less likely for an email from the server to go to spam? Some people on, e.g. Yahoo, are reporting that the emails go to spam. Or is this just something they will have to set up themselves by removing it from spam?

My mail client? You mean my users' mail clients or their university servers? I don't use an offline mail client, I just log in to Gmail.

Though when I view the email forwarded to my gmail account it appears with a question mark icon next to the email address... I don't know what that means.

Hi, we have confirmation emails sent to users who sign up to a site on a specific domain. The issue seems to be that these emails take a while to get through and then that often times they go to spam folders (gmail and such especially). What are the optimal settings to solve these issues...

I am restoring from backup right now. I believe one of the updates (bind? CentOS 7.5? one of the system updates?) likely caused this issue. EDIT to confirm that a backup caused no troubles - it was definitely one of the automatic updates listed above. Everything runs fine as it did yesterday...
