with proxy unchecked it will run with nginx, with proxy checked it download the php files this is the php configuration and this is the nginx setting

yes the error comes from nginx, tuned off as explained here https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006364914-How-to-make-a-website-be-processed-only-by-Apache-when-nginx-is-enabled-on-a-Plesk-server but now the php files are downloaded, not executed
