• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

451 qq trouble in home directory

Hi, Could someone please say include they made this change exactly? Was it made through the Plesk UI or via CLI? Previously, I didn't have SPF SPAM protection on but I didn't see a reference to include:spf.trusted-forwarders.org in the mail settings in Plesk. Many thanks.

I am using 8.6 with all updated components and still having this problem. Is there something I have to do manually? Thanks.

    AWstats - bugfix or not

Is there a fix for this yet Hi, I just noticed that I have this problem as well. When logging into the AwStats page, for the "current" month or the last few months I get a 404 error. I have stats previous to that. Whats the best way to fix this? I figured Plesk would just release a patch...

    My experience with recent migration

Another recent thing I discovered during this migration is that none of the mailing lists (mailman) transferred over. I ended up manually creating the list names and then copying over the data directories for the mailing lists from the old server to the new server.

    Sw Soft Announced Plesk 9

Yes I used the migration manager. I guess the thing to do would be remove the favicon.ico from the skeleton BEFORE the migration takes place.

    Sw Soft Announced Plesk 9

Anyone notice the favicon.ico now in the httpdocs directory? Every domain now has the SWSoft symbol in the addressbar/bookmarks. When did this "feature" come out?

    Standard Forwarding Domain

If you are just trying to do domain forwarding, why not just configure a domain to have mutiple aliases. Aliases don't appear to count towards your domain count. I think this may be a fairly new feature.

    Installation issue, conflict with httpd

Hi, I recently installed Plesk 8.2 on CentOS5. To get around these errors I removed the package that is mentioned in the conflict and then ran the installer again. Keep doing this until you get no more errors. I think this is caused when the packages already installed are newer then...

    My experience with recent migration

Since its so hard to find any support-like info for Plesk, I thought I would share my recent experience with a migration here. I was migrating from FC2 Plesk 8.1 to CentOS 5 Plesk 8.2. I originally tried to migrate the entire server. The migration first zips up all of the data and then...

    RHEL5 and .autoinstallerrc syntax

Thanks. That is my next step. I didn't enable rollbacks on yum so I am just requesting an OS reload for my server. I am curious how this .autoinstallerrc additional_source parameter works. All I have found is workarounds and not the correct syntax.

    RHEL5 and .autoinstallerrc syntax

I too have encountered this problem. I have a clean CentOS 5 install and have issued the command "yum update." When I try install Plesk 8.2 via the autoinstaller, it tells me I have some newer packages so I should specify the location of the vendor updates in .autoinstallerrc. I have...
